Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our platform, services, novated leasing content, and editorial approach.

No. We are an independent information and service platform. We connect drivers with vetted workshops and provide educational content on novated leasing and used car buying. We do not sell vehicles or arrange leases on commission.
Lease payments and bundled running costs are deducted from pre-tax salary, reducing taxable income. You may also receive GST credits on the vehicle purchase. However, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) may apply depending on usage and employer arrangement. Actual savings vary by salary, vehicle cost, and kilometres driven.
No. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are not required to service at a dealership to maintain warranty. Our partner workshops perform logbook servicing to manufacturer specifications with full documentation.

Our workshop partner network covers metropolitan and regional areas across all Australian states and territories. Enter your postcode on any service page to find available workshops.
Workshops must hold current business licences, employ qualified technicians, use manufacturer-approved or equivalent parts, provide itemised quotes before work begins, and maintain a minimum 4.0/5 customer satisfaction rating.
Yes. Most lease providers accept used vehicles, typically up to 5–7 years old with reasonable kilometres. FBT is calculated on the actual purchase price, which may result in lower FBT than a new vehicle lease.
No. Our editorial content is independent. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored rankings, or dealer advertising in our guides or comparison tools.
Follow your manufacturer's logbook schedule — typically every 10,000–15,000 km or 12 months, whichever comes first. Some items like brake fluid require time-based intervals regardless of kilometres.
A Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) check reveals if a vehicle has outstanding finance, is reported stolen, or has been written off. It costs $2 and is essential before any used car purchase.
